Canada’s welcoming attitude and strong stance to support newcomers smoothly settle-in has made it a popular country for all those considering immigration. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Departmental Plan 2018–2019 details the Government’s robust commitment to welcoming more permanent residents over the next three years. Annually, this includes raising immigration targets to 330,000 by the end of 2019 and 340,000 by the end of 2020.
